Due to regulations that require 23% of US Government contracts to be spent on small businesses, White House reclassifies The New York Times Co., USA Today International Corp., Bloomberg LP, the Public Broadcasting Service, Exxon Mobil, and Microsoft as "small businesses"

Back in the day good ol' Mom-and-Pop stores fulfilled most of our military aviation contracts. Now you got these newfangled "aerospace contractors" takin' up all the contracts but we gotta' eat too ya know.

You know, if you can't justify spending the money on small businesses because of your changing wants and you control the legislature, couldn't you just *change the requirement* rather than *braking the law in a stupid way*?

Of course. I don't deny that the aforementioned violation was asinine. I'm just over here cackling at the irrational mental image of somebody building an F-35 Joint Strike Fighter in his garage with a chalk line and a nail gun.
